Small 8vo, new calf; title a bit soiled and repaired (not affecting text) and with a small piece of tape slightly obscuring a few letters of text); a small piece is torn from the 5 th leaf of the preface, on 8 lines removing between a letter and a word of text at the outer margin; there is a similar but slightly larger piece torn from the final leaf of the 18 page list of subscriber's names, affecting some letters of 4 names recto and 6 verso; there is a bit of staining toward the rear of the book.
